Programs Offered

Viking offers all five of our programs under one roof so that children can stay with us from infancy through Grade 6. Alberta-mandated educator-to-child ratios apply to every program, from 1:4 in the infant room to 1:15 in school-age care.

About Our Viking Daycare in Alberta

The centre is built around how children actually move and learn, with separate spaces for each age group and a fenced outdoor playground.

🏫 Indoor Spaces

Each age group has its own room: dedicated infant rooms, toddler rooms, preschool classrooms, a kindergarten classroom, and a school-age space, with age-appropriate furniture, materials, and quiet corners. Surfaces are sanitized on a documented schedule.

🌳 Outdoor Playground

A fenced outdoor playground supports daily active play, weather permitting. Equipment is age-appropriate and inspected daily before children use it.

📍 Built for Viking and Surrounding Communities

Viking is a small town, and our centre reflects that. Many of our families have known each other for years, and our educators often know children long before they start.

For families on farms outside town, Viking is one of the few licensed full-day daycare options nearby. Many families drive in from surrounding rural communities.

Meet the Viking Team

The people who work at Viking are the heart of the centre. Each room has its own lead educator and small team who stay with the children day after day.
